A Wedding Slideshow!

We had a blast pretending to be photographers at May and Adam's wedding, and thought we'd share a few more images set to their favorite tunage. Feel free to take a gander. That is, if you have 4 minutes of your life to spare...

If you aren't so lucky to be reading this on our blog, click here to view the video.

Wedding photography...for the first (and last :) time!

We were tooootally honoured that our friends May & Adam requested that we be their wedding photographers. We felt completely unqualified, but flattered nonetheless. Their special day was BEAUTIFUL and the stunning bride and groom made picture-taking a pleasure. Our low grade equipment as well as the bright sun and spotty shadows weren't ideal (from a photography perspective), but that just made it a little more challenging... and we wouldn't be Lowell & Julie if we didn't like a little challenge now and then! So here they are- the most beautiful and genuinely kind people you'll ever meet... MAY & ADAM!

Congratulations May & Adam!! You're a beautiful couple... inside AND out!

Another trip around the sun!

One year ago today, Lowell and I landed back on Canadian soil to stay. Let's take a look-see at the past year...

Bought another house.... check.

Renovated a basement... check (pictures of that to come SOON.... promise!).

Began private speech pathology work (Julie)... check.

Visited Ottawa for the first time (Lowell)...

...which included seeing Parliament and having his first BEAVER TAIL.... CHECK!

Adopted puppy Kumeu.... check.

Became a spinning instructor (Lowell)... check.

Lost (most of) our travelling weight... check.

Welcomed four more nieces/nephew including the FIRST G GRANDCHILD... check.

Planted our very own flower gardens for the first time... check.

COMPLETED MASTERS OF COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGY (Lowell)... CHECK!

I'd say that was a pretty good year... and I have every intention of continuing the trend in the next 12 months!
